Wendy Young

Passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Wendy (Green) Young age 65 years, was the beloved wife of Paul Young for 44 years. She was the loving mother of Erin Young and her husband Andrew Schiller, and Julia Young, and her husband Jamie Campbell. Wendy was the proud Nana of Ruby, Peri, Blaire, and a big baby bump. She was the dear sister of Howard Green and his wife Flora. She was a loved sister-in-law and cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Wendy worked for many years as a treasured teacher-librarian and consultant for the Upper Grand District School Board. Her family and friends will carry the memory of Wendy sharing her deep love of reading and books, and miss her endless warm smiles and hugs.

A Funeral Service will take place at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 2 p.m. A celebration of Wendy's life will be held immediately afterwards at 3:30 pm at The OAC Centennial Arboretum Centre.
