

Adrian Aromin, aged 63 of Gurnee, passed away on the evening of January 27, 2025. He was the loving husband of Maribel Aromin for 38 years; devoted father of Jamie, Angelo, Nicole and Carlos; adored brother of Daphne and Leland; and proud grandfather to Cheska, Blaire, and Simon.
Adrian was born to Hector and Juliana Aromin in San Fernando, La Union, where he spent most of his formative years. He was a physician in the Philippines before moving to the US where he practiced as a registered nurse.
In his lifetime, Adrian is known for his sharp mind and love of general information competitions, and he would have made an exceptional Jeopardy contestant. A man of many passions, he found joy in mellow rock music, was an avid sports enthusiast—particularly football—and took pride in his collections of jerseys, quality shoes, and fine watches. He will be remembered for his sincere and humble nature, always ready to lend a hand or offer his service. Dependable and deeply knowledgeable in his work, he was a man of unwavering integrity. His great sense of humor brought light to every moment, enduring even until the very end.
A visitation for Adrian will be held Monday, February 3, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL. A mass of christian burial will occur Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6401 Gages Lake Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. Interment at Ascension Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1920 Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048.
