Ann A. Darraugh

Ann Ainsworth Darraugh, age 87, of Wadsworth passed away December 1st peacefully in her home. She was born in Taylorville, IL to Lawrence and Hazel Ainsworth. She was married to W Page Darraugh who preceded her in death in 2003. A member of The Chapel in Libertyville, she was very active volunteering at a soup kitchen in Waukegan, visiting veterans at Captain James Lovell Federal Health Care Center, ​ ​among her other activities. An avid bridge player, lover of animals, golf, veterans issues and the Bulls she will be missed by many.

She is survived by her four sons, Dave, Boise ID, Mike (Terry) Lake Bluff, IL, Steve (Marjorie) Berkeley, CA and Dick (Stacey) Gurnee, IL. She has 6 grandchildren Shauna Paden, Overland Park, KS, Megan (Tom) Armstrong, Moorestown, NJ, Natalie (Emmanuel) Doulgerakis, Roswell, GA, Katie Darraugh, Chicago, Justin and Taylor Darraugh, Gurnee, IL and 5 great grandchildren, ​ ​Claire, Eleanor and Adam Armstrong, ​​Danica Paden ​, ​​and Eva Doulgerakis, who were the love of her life.

Family will be receiving condolences ​​from​​ 6 ​:00 to 9:00 pm​​​ Wed Jan 20, 2016 with a memorial service promptly at 7:00 pm located at Independence Grove 16400 Buckley Road, Libertyville, IL 60048.
