Arturo P Sanchez Sr.

Arturo P Sanchez of Gurnee, IL, passed away on October 25, 2024. He was born August 13,1957 in Toledo, OH, to his loving parents, Simon and Isabel Sanchez. He was hardworking and worked as a Gardner for Crabtree Farms in Lake Bluff for many years recently retired but would still go every morning for a couple hours. He was married to Dora Florek, and though they later divorced, they remained close. Arturo was loved by many, his heart was kind and would help anyone in need. Life was one big party live your life to the fullest he would always say. Arturo enjoyed spending time with his family and a Jack on the rocks.

Arturo is survived by his Son Arturo Sanchez Jr of Park city (ex-wife Christine Escobar) and Daughter Jo Ann (son in law Michael) Cordova of Gurnee, Il. Bonus kids Christina(Tim McNutt),Kathryn (Dimitra) Florek and Cristela (Hannah) Leipzig along with the Terán brothers. His sisters Josie(Raymond) Garza of Ft. Worth TX, Paula (Dario) Garza of Park City,IL and Chris Sanchez of Round Lake,IL; grandchildren, Dominique Sanchez(Danny), Daelynn Sanchez (Chris) of WI, Makayla Cordova (Jacob), Matthew and Malaya Cordova of Gurnee,Il. One Great granddaughter Bobbi Illescas. Many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be at 5:00pm to 8:00pm, on Friday November 1, 2024 at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd. Gurnee,Il 60031.

His wishes were to be cremated and buried in Big Wells, Tx next to his parents. Where that will be his final resting place at a later date.
