Dorothy B. Jackson

Dorothy B. Jackson "Granny" , age 97, from Mt Pleasant, Wisconsin formerly of Waukegan, IL passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Dorothy was born October 17, 1924 in Elgin, IL. She was long time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Waukegan. Retired from Great Lakes Naval Base and was an avid Cubs, Bears and Bulls Fan. She loved to dance, and was always ready to feed you day or night at her home on Flossmoor Ave. Dorothy was loving, fun, and very generous. She was one of thirteen children. What a blessing she was to all who met her. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her daughter Susan L. (William) Bouma; Six grandchildren; Michael, Ken, Jennifer, James (Megan), Steve and Shelly (Pete); great-grandchildren; Bailey, Autumn, Carley, Charlotte, Tony, Mya, Ashley, Jacob and Abby; and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Jackson; son, Craig A. Jackson, her parents and many other loved ones including her long time companion Larry Ciecholinski.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 11-12:30 PM with a funeral service to follow at 12:30PM. Burial immediately after at Warren Cemetery.
