Edwin V. Golien, 87, of Gurnee, Illinois passed away after a brief illness on May 7, 2014 in Lindenhurst, IL. He was born January 5, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. Edwin belonged to Fiat Allis Retiree's Club, 4-H and Lake County Mounted Posse and retired as a manager from Fiat-Allis. Edwin is survived by four children; Donald (Becky) Golien, Patricia (Scott) Breitung, Karen (Timothy) Harris and Jennifer (John) Walker; grandchildren Don Golien, Michael Breitung, Kimberly (Tom) Stanton, Kathy Albert, Katherine Spradling and a brother Walter Golien. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth (Betty) Golien, daughter Linda Spradling, parents Leo and Helen Golien. Visitation will be held 5-8 pm on, Tuesday, May 13, 2014 and Wednesday 12-1 pm with a service following at 1 pm at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee. Burial at Willow Lawn Memorial Park, Vernon Hills, IL.
