Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Pederson, and her children, John Pederson, Richard Pederson, and Debra Bingham. She is survived by her son, James Pederson of California, and her grandchildren, Kenny and Renee Pederson; Eric and Craig Pederson; Jeremy and Bonnie; and Chris, Brian, and Dawn Bingham. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Allison Pederson, Aaliyah Bingham, Landon.
Geraldine and her husband shared a passion for travel and square dancing, pursuits that brought them joy and many cherished memories. She was also a member of the Spinning Wheels.
Geraldine's memory will be cherished by her family and friends, who remember her as a beloved presence in their lives. A celebration of life will be held on April 11, 2026 at 1:30 pm at the Illinois State Beach Park. In lieu of flowers, donations or memorials can be made to Dawn Bingham.
