Harold H. Pirlot, age 80, of Waukegan, Illinois passed away Wednesday May 22, 2013 at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan. He was born December 6, 1932 in Iron Mountain, Michigan to Nestor and Laura Pirlot. Harold belonged to American Legion #281, Sagola Sportsman, and the Gurnee Mills Walkers. He is retired from V.R. Wesson in Waukegan and is a veteran of the U.S. Army. Harold was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved camping and fishing in Michigan and watching his grandsons playing baseball, and bowling. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances (Iverson); daughter, Susan (John) Hersman; grandsons, Darrell and Michael Hersman; sister, Dorothy La Fountain of Neenah, Wisconsin. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Frank, Raymond, Robert, Howard, and Roger; sister, Grace Cocking, Mary Firoucci, and Myrtle Van Marter. Visitation will be Wednesday May 29, 2013 from 5-8 pm and Thursday from 9-10am with a funeral service at 10am at Marsh Funeral Home of Gurnee. Burial will be at Northshore Garden of Memories in North Chicago, Illinois.
