

Helen Temp, 89, was born September 16, 1924 in Waukegan to the late John and Agnes (nee Anjoorian) Nordigian and passed away October 20, 2013 at St. Catherine Hospital in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Helen was the loving mother of Annette (Gil) Lopez, Teri (Michael) Bennett, Jill Jansen and Arthur (Becky) Temp; cherished grandmother of Christina (David) Bawcum, Jaime (Tim) Zaugra, Michael, Lindsey, Nicholas, Michael (Nicky), Miriam, Rebekah, Nathan and Joanna; great grandmother of Annabelle, Jaxson and Cadence; dear sister of Peter Nordigian and the late Charles (late Shirley) Nordigian and late Martha (late Robert) Cobb and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Helen was a 1942 graduate of Waukegan Township High School. After graduation, she worked at Abbott Laboratories where she starred in their annual shows as the Drum Majorette and appeared in Abbott Lab’s Pharmagraph Magazine. After leaving Abbott Labs, she worked at the Great Lakes Naval Supply Depot until her marriage. Her most recent job was working at Park Place for Catholic Charities in Waukegan. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 4-7 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee. Family and friends will gather on Wednesday October 23 at 9:45 AM at St. Paul Armenian Apostolic Church, 645 S. Lewis Avenue, Waukegan for funeral service at 10:00 AM. Entombment will be at Northshore Garden of Memories Cemetery in North Chicago.
