

Helen was born in Waukegan, IL on Feb 8, 1921 to Julia & Benjamin Williams.
Helen loved to play cards, do word searches, puzzles, go camping across country with her family and friends. She loved to play golf which she played in many leagues while living in Waukegan and after moving to Imperial Lakes Estates in Palmetto, FL ., where at the age of 81, got her first “HOLE IN ONE”.
One of Helen’s great loves was to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
One of our mother and fathers loves was to travel across the United States square dancing and ballroom dancing with their friends. They belonged to the Swinging Swedes Square Dance Club and The H.O.B.O. Club. Helen was also a member of the Red Hat Society in Florida.
Over the years, Helen worked at many places while raising her children. Some included Waukegan Drive-in Theatre in the summer and at Louie’s on North in the winter making Pizzas. After many years of work, she retired from the Civil Service office at Great Lakes as a Finance Clerk.
Helen is preceeded in death by her husband Ernest Vincent, parents Julia & Benjamin Williams, Her three sisters Sarah Franzen Sitz, Ida Corey, Dorothy Ogilvie and son in law Victor Brown.
She is survived by her four children William (Judy) Vincent, Beverly Brown, Robert (Grace) Vincent and Barbara (Brad) Crow. Also, Foster son James (Karen) Gamble, 14 grandchildren, 28 Great grandchildren, 8 great, great grandchildren, plus numerous relatives and dear friends.
Visitation 9-11am Thursday at Marsh Funeral Home. Funeral Service 11 am Thursday April 7, 2016 at Marsh F.H. Burial North Shore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, IL.
