Jama Rochelle Girona

In loving memory of Jama Rochelle Girona who peacefully passed on October 28th 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 21st 1969 in Houston, Texas to James E. Jeter and Constance Nikolatos. Jama dedicated her life to her family and to the selfless profession of nursing. She left behind a legacy that will forever be treasured by family, friends, colleagues, and residents.

Jama is survived by her husband Elvin Girona, her four children, Briana, Ellena, Alexander, Xavian, and her granddaughter Delilah. Her mother Constance Kowat and her three siblings, Darryl Culpepper, Melissa Holland, and Nicholas Jeter. As well as many extended family members in Temple, San Antonio and throughout her home state of Texas.

Jama's nurturing spirit and selflessness inspired everyone she met. Her memory will live on through the lives she touched, her love for her family, and her passion for Mickey Mouse. As we mourn our loss, let us celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the profound effect she had on those fortunate enough to have known her and to have heard the sweetest voice ever. May Jama rest in eternal peace, knowing that her legacy of love, compassion, and joyous nature will continue to inspire us all.
