James Woodard Smith, Age 72, of Kenosha, passed away March 30, 2014 at home. Born April 22, 1941 in Whistler, AL. Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Owned and operated Century Heating and Cooling in Waukegan for many years. Beloved father of Carolynne (Lawrence) Misicka, Jeanne Dan, Donna (Alan) Bartling, Barbara (Lance) Smith Hampton, Elizabeth (Lou) Haley, Dale (Lindy) Egle and Hugo (Christi) Egle; loving grandfather of twenty-two and great-grandfather of twelve; many relatives in Alabama and Louisiana. Preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Barbara Pinterelli; grandson, J. Everett Rukstales; and beloved wife, Victoria Ann Smith. Service at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 Cemetery Rd., Gurnee Saturday, April, 5, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. Burial private. Visitation 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturday at Marsh Funeral Home.
