James D. Trytek

James D. Trytek, passed away on December 27, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Eleanor Trytek, nee Jaskol. He is survived by his daughters, Courtney (Michael) Cornick and Melissa Youngberg. Their mother, Kathleen Hendrickson and grandchildren, Sydney and Audrey Youngberg and Elena and Charles Cornick.

Jim was born February 24, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Carl Shurz high school in 1966. He served in the US Air Force for 4 years as a military policeman. He worked in the airline industry for the remainder of his career until his retirement 5 months ago. His interest included flying, watching movies and traveling, especially to Florida. His proudest accomplishments were being voted MVP for his high school football team, and obtaining his pilots license. His passions were being a doting father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family more that anything else and will be dearly missed.

A visitation for James will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031 with a memorial service at 6 PM.
