Jean Ann Rosenthal, 80, of Arlington Hts. IL passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015. She was born to Eugene and Violet Palo on March 1, 1935 in Waukegan Il. Jean attended Waukegan High School and graduated from Valparaiso University in 1956. She taught elementary education before becoming a full time homemaker. She was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church. Jean enjoyed antiquing and art; she produced meticulous works of decoupage as well as playful Christmas tree ornaments. She is survived by her two children, Robert Rosenthal (wife Chris) and daughter Sandra Rosenthal (husband Adam List), two granddaughters, Amy Rosenthal and Jaimie List, and two sisters, Kay Siebert and Linda Bruch. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Ronald Rosenthal, and her parents. Visitation is Monday, December 28, from 5-8pm at the Marsh Funeral Home, 305 North Cemetery Road (off Washington) in Gurnee. Funeral service Tuesday at 11:00 am at North Shore Gardens of Memories in the Chapel, 1801 Greenbay Rd. North Chicago, Illinois.
