With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Jenna Nicole (Vanderspool) Costello, 36, who left us far too soon on October 27, 2024, in Genoa City, Wisconsin. Born on November 9, 1987, our Jenna was a beloved daughter, sister, wife and an extraordinary mom. Her life was filled with love and joy, touching everyone around her. Jenna’s vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication to her family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
Jenna was predeceased by her grandparents Delos and Idelle Dunlap and her grandfather Richard Vanderspool. She is survived by her grandmother, Connie Vanderspool and her parents Jim Vanderspool and Sheila (Mike) McMillin, who had the immeasurable joy of watching her grow into an incredible woman and mother. Throughout her life, Jenna showcased her passion for living fully and embracing every adventure that came her way. She had a heart of gold, she was protective, thoughtful, deeply devoted and boldly sincere.
Jenna celebrated a beautiful marriage to Kelly Costello on September 23, 2023, in Genoa City, Wisconsin. Their nine years together were filled with adventure, laughter and love. Jenna was a devoted wife and an unparalleled loving mother to their two sons, Cash and Cruz. She reveled in the crazy chaos of being a boy mama and her boys were the center of her universe. She poured her heart into surrounding them with love and affection, teaching them to care deeply about others and instilling her sense of fun and adventure. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her children, who will carry her love and values throughout their lives.
Jenna’s family extended beyond her immediate household. She was an adored sister, leaving behind a significant gap in the lives of her beloved siblings: Cody (Chanel), Cole, April (Josh), Cory (Emily), Tyler, Evan, Jasmine, and Jessica. Jenna was a confidante, supporter, and friend to each of them, always ready with a listening ear and a kind and encouraging word. She also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, her future goddaughter, Everleigh and her 11-year-old fur-baby, Penelope. Jenna’s loyalty and love for her family were unwavering, and she is deeply missed by all.
While her family was always her priority, Jenna was also a driving force in her parents’ small business. She was curious, innovative, intelligent and gave her all in the spirit of family and accomplishment. The business’s overall success could not have been achieved without Jenna’s enthusiasm, outstanding contributions and extreme dedication.
Jenna had a zest for life, she was always genuine, whether silly or serious, and could listen intently or make you laugh. She always held the needs and wants of her loved ones above her own. Those who knew her will fondly remember heartfelt talks, encouraging words, brilliant ideas, clumsy stories, or hilarious adventures that she either initiated or encouraged.
Jenna Nicole Costello may have left this world too soon, but her spirit and legacy will continue to shine brightly in the lives of her family and friends.
