Lee V. Wilmot

Lee was born February 10th, 1944 in Chicago, IL. She grew up in Cicero and Libertyville and raised her family of four with husband Jim in Gurnee, IL.

She graduated from Mundelein College with a major in education and spent some of her years teaching kindergarten at Woodland Elementary School. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, spending time up north and laughing with family and friends. Lee was also a three time breast cancer survivor.

Lee is survived by her husband Jim, children Jennifer Corr (Wilmot), Jeremy Wilmot and Josie Vega (Wilmot) as well as eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Jonathan, sister Judy and parents Anastasia and Anthony Valancius.

There will be visitation at Marsh Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 27th from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. A mass will be held on Thursday, July 28th at 10:00am at St. Paul the Apostle, 6401 Gages Lake Rd, Gurnee, IL.
