Leonard J. Wachowiak, 66, of Gurnee, IL passed away April 16, 2010 at home. He was born May 1, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. Len retired from Jewel after 37 years as a baker. After his retirement, he worked as a maintenance man for Consumer Credit Union in Round Lake. He loved his family, his doggies and his passion to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Len is survived by his wife Patricia of 45 years; 3 daughters; Cindy (John) Pawlowski, Annie (Chris) Martin and Susie (Chris) Staranowicz; Six grandchildren; Zach, Rachael, Sage, Lexi, Sophie and Alex; three sisters; Ilene, Carol and Judy. He was preceded in death by his mother Irene Wachowiak.
Funeral mass will be held Friday, April 23 at 11am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6401 Gages Lake Rd, Gurnee. Visitation will be Thursday April, 22 from 4 to 8pm at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 Cemetery Rd. Gurnee.
