Lorraine E. Dams

Lorraine E. Dams, age 87, of Park City, passed away on November 29, 2021. Beloved mom of Alan Dams of Lake Villa, Mark Dams of Waukegan, and Vance Dams of Zion. Cherished grandma of Eric Dams of Lake Villa, Aaron (Candice nee Fox) Dams of Antioch, Travis Dams of Gladstone, MI, Lindsey Hill of Waukegan, and Lauren Dams of Waukee, IA. Sister of Ronald Fritz of Libertyville. Great-grandma of three. Aunt of three nieces. Preceded in death by her parents LeRoy and Elsie Fritz of Wadsworth.

Lorraine was the epitome of an unconditionally loving mother. She was devoted to her family, and enjoyed being a grandma. You could find her in her garden most days – as she enjoyed her garden and flowers. She retired from Illinois Department of Rehabilitation Services. Her family will always remember her fondly – especially the memories of her during the large family holiday get togethers.

A visitation for Lorraine will be held Monday, December 6, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 6, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. A graveside service will occur Monday, December 6, 2021 from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, 33100 N Hunt Club Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048.
