Michael J. Bush, 54, of Gurnee has passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022. He was born in Waukegan on June 11, 1968. He graduated Warren Township High School in 1986. Michael was an employee at Pfizer for many years who was always ready to share a smile. You could find him riding his motorcycle every chance he had, rocking out to all kinds of tunes. He loved fishing, concerts, his dogs Darby and Moses. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, never ending friendship and his love for nature.
He was preceded in death by his father John W. Bush. Michael is survived by his mother Carol Ann Bush (Kinnee), sister Karen (Vernon Jones), sister Mary Kay Huffman (Eric); and niece Alexandra Cassidy, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A viewing for Michael will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031, with a mass on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6401 Gages Lake Rd., Gurnee, IL 60031. Followed by a burial at Ascension Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum, 1920 W. Buckley Rd.,, Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Cancer Society.
