

Norma J. Lindstrom, 83, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Presence Holy Family Medical Center, Des Plaines, IL. She was born May 6, 1932, in Genoa, Ohio. Norma's educational background included attending Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music, a degree in Missions Studies with the Prairie Bible Institute of Canada. Norma partnered with her husband in pastoring the Chillicothe Bible Church. She worked in the attendance office and retired from Zion-Benton Township H.S., Zion, IL. Norma was a long term member of Lakeview Church and first children's ministry director and founding member of Village Church of Gurnee, IL. She privately mentored many women and pastor's wives. A loving, devoted wife and caring mother. She passed on her love of, and skills with, people. She had a deep love for others and was loved by many. Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Lloyd; and survived by children, John Lloyd (Zoe) Lindstrom of Mt. Pleasant, WI, Christine Ann (Rodney) Nealeigh of Greenville, OH, Kathleen Fay (Timothy) Hodge of Frankfort, IN, and Mark Dale (Letitia) Lindstrom of Waukegan, IL; grandchildren, Cody Nealeigh, Clinton (Molly) Nealeigh, Cassidy (Logan) Brunk, and Colton Nealeigh, Reed Hodge, Jason Hodge, Rachel Hodge, Nathan Hodge, Alisa Hodge, Jacob Hodge, Luke Hodge, Benaiah Hodge, and Kelly Hodge, Ashleigh Lindstrom, Matthew Lindstrom, Joshua (Ashley) Lindstrom, one great-grandchild Michael Johnathan Lindstrom, and brothers Donald (Johnna) Brown and Jackie Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale Deloy Brown and Gertrude Brown. Visitation will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. immediately followed by a service at 3:00 p.m. at Village Church of Gurnee, 1319 N. Hunt Club Road, Gurnee, IL, with Pastor Todd Habeggar officiating.
