Dear Norma and Family,

Roger....where do you begin? We shared much in morning breakfast conversations that covered every possible topic. Our lives touched base many times. Most memorable was in northern WI with the camper and we went to see the light. We even bought insurance from him. We will always remember Roger's smile and gift of gab. He always made those around him happy. We have wonderful memories of Roger and he will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

    I was just going through the News-Sun online and saw Roger's obituary. My heart goes out to you and your family. Roger may be gone in body but not in spirit. No one can ever take away the wonderful memories that you have of him. Hopefully those memories will help you get through the tough times ahead. God Bless.

I have so many happy memories of you and Roger going back to the first time we meant at the Lake County Underwriters dinner. Roger was always so kind and always had a smile on his face. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. You have my deepest condolences and I will keep you and Roger in my prayers.

My condolences to the Rigby family. Roger and I were team mates and friends. a long time has passed, but still its like yesterday...just can't believe it. Save me a place Rog. You were best at getting things done.

I knew Roger as high school classmate and got to know him better at our Class Reunions.

Roger didn't need a picture nametag to identify himself.  His broad smile and good humor did that for him.

The fact that, upon learning of his cancer, our class put together a Reunion, last summer, for the purpose of seeing, encouraging and praying for him, is a testament to how well he was thought of by us all.

Bless the many hearts that are grieving this loss.

We were sad to hear of Roger's passing. He was a nice man and I know that he and Mike shared some laughs together over the fence. I have no doubt that he left the golfballs in our mailbox before Christmas and that was very sweet.

I was in homeroom with Roger at DHS - he always added to the general chaos in there.  By chance, my daughter, Taryn, was friends with Nikki during her School years.  Our best to all of you during this trying time.

My condolences to Norma and the entire Rigby family. Roger and I shared some fond memories last year at our 45th Deerfield High School reunion. We talked about the early years at Elm Place School and our days at Deerfield High. Of the many fond memories that we both had, was our standing Friday night poker games, which Roger always had a seat.

Although I am sad to say that we did not remain close after the Deerfield years; Roger will always be in my thoughts.

Dearest Norma, I was deeply sadened with the news of Roger's passing. I know you and your family were the best support group that anyone could ask for. My dear friend will always be remembered for the special person he was. He lived his life with love, dignity and that great sense of humor.

Roger was a special friend, even from great distances.  He was a wonderful role model and, my interested and compentent insurance representative. He lived his life with grace and love.  Loving condolences to Norma and family.

I will always remember his wonderful smile and the "twinkle" in his eye.  He will be missed. Your family is in my prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.  Roger and myself have been friends since freshmen football (1960), that is a long time.  His friendship will be greatly missed, along with his great smile and sense of humor.

I remember Rodger simply as a great guy! We played football together - he was great, I was not. Yet he treated me as if I were an important part of the team. He had a great laugh and this powerful voice that couldn't be missed. I will always be greatful for all that he did to keep our class together.

I want to express my condolences to you and your family. Roger was a good man and a friend. On this Easter Sunday the Lord has Risen and so has Roger.

`We had many good times at DHS, Roger was always the spark plug of the gang, and the  guy my Dad liked to goof with the most. We will miss him.

My sincerest condolences to you and your family.  Roger and I went to Deerfield High together - he, class of '64; me, class of '65.  I can't say we were good friends, we simply knew each other.  But it was good to renew that acquaintance at the reunion last June (I was the singer).  Cancer is close to me - my mom died of pancreatic cancer, and my sister died of lung cancer.  It's touched us all.  But a pastor once said to me as my mother was dying, "God heals in many ways - sometimes it's in death... be thankful they shared your life and decorated it for as long as they did."  I offer that to you in hopes that it helps in some small way.  It helped me.

I have fond memories of Roger. He was always nice to me and I know he will be missed by everyone.
