Vivian Nemanich

Vivian J. Nemanich, age 97 passed away peacefully at Allure of Zion on Sunday, May 18, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A.Nemanich, her parents, Theodore and Liama Larson, her grandson, Joshua Nemanich, and son-in-law, Michael Lewis. She retired from the Waukegan school system, where she went to work after raising her family. She is survived by her children, Patricia(Leonard) Noll, Diane(Leonard) Pasieta, JoAnne Lewis, and her son Joseph James Nemanich, her grandchildren, Jennifer(Tim) House, Amy(Phil) Priebe, Kate(Dave) Poepping, Matthew(Rachel Mendoza) Lewis, David Lewis, Samantha(Harrison) Pauley, Michael Nemanich, Thomas Nemanich, and step grandsons Leonard J. Pasieta and USAF LtCol Sean(Kirsten) Pasieta and 7 great grandchildren Evan and Annabeth Lewis, Joseph, Matthew, and Daniel Poepping, Jackson Nemanich, and James Harrison Pauley VI .

The visitation for Vivian will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the Marsh Funeral Home (305 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL) from 9:30am until 10:30am. A short prayer service will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home at 10:30am with interment to follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, Libertyville, IL.
