William H. Roark, 86, of Lindenhurst, IL passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Vista East Medical Center, He was born Feb. 26, 1925 in Corbin, KY. Member of the VFW, U.S. Navy veteran served in WW II. Crew Leader for Northern IL Gas Co. Beloved husband of the late Mary Lou, nee Morrison; father of William (Beverly), Carol Buccelli (late Louis), Kathleen Votava (Frank), Thomas (Julie), Mary Eileen, Jerome (Maggie); dear grandfather of 22; great grandfather of 23. Preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; three brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; one son-in-law; one daughter-in-law; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter. Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011 and 10 and 11 a.m. Saturday until time of service at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL 60031. Pastor Brandon Smith of Village Church of Gurnee will be Officiating. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville, IL.
