Zenaida Calara Ofilanda, age 46, of Romeoville, IL. Beloved wife of Nestor Aquino, only daughter of Manuel Sr. and Amanda and only sister to Manuel Jr, Bobby, Noel, and Lionil. She is also survived by a number of loving nephews and nieces. She was born on April 4, 1972 in the town of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines and passed on Dec 20, 2018 in Romeoville, IL.
In 1994, Zeny as she is called by her family and friends, migrated to the United States as a registered nurse and started working at the Lexington Health Care Center in Schaumburg caring for the elderly. From there she made numerous travels as a nurse in the Northern Illinois area which also included a few years in the town of McAllen, Texas.
Visitation will be Wednesday 5-9 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee. Visitation will continue Thursday from 9-10 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, 6401 Gages Lake Rd, Gurnee. Funeral Mass to begin at 10 AM. Interment Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
