Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Alan lived a life of hard work and quiet determination.
Alan grew up in Bergenfield, New Jersey. After graduating from high school, Alan worked in a corporate setting in New York City. After attending college classes. Alan’s career path became focused on the food and beverage industry, working in many venues, and most recently spending many years as a dedicated member of the waitstaff at a popular restaurant in North Bergen.
A lifelong Mets fan, Alan’s sense of humor and his willingness to be helpful always shined through and Alan worked hard to sustain the life he so enjoyed.
Alan is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving sister and brother and brother-in-law, his dear maternal aunt, wonderful and caring cousins, as well as his nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be held at noon, on December 21, 2025, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Fairview, New Jersey.
Family and friends will gather to take a moment to reflect on Alan and the person they knew, perhaps long ago or during his more current years. This reflection will bring a smile, in celebration of Alan’s memory, and of his life.
