Alexander H. Holman

Alex was a graduate of New York University, served as a US Army Captain during WW II, and had a long career in the fashion industry.

He was passionate about opera and classical music. Alex was active in Public Funds for Public Schools, the ACLU Bergen County Chapter, and MD Support-The Eyes of the Macular Degeneration Community.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Adele, adoring children Lewis (Mary), Janet (Rick) and Madeline (Neil), and his treasures-grandchildren David (Rommy), Eric (Hayley), Maya, Joanna, Andrew, Julie and Brian, and great grandchildren Ross and Sisa.

Funeral service will be held 11AM on Wednesday April 6 at our chapel; Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors.

Friends may begin to arrive at 10:15 AM for ample time to pay respects to the family.

Interment will follow at Maimonides Cemetery, Elmont, NY.

SHIVA will be observed immediately following the burial at Adele's residence,

95 Dana Place, Englewood, NJ 07631 until 9 PM as well as Thursday from 1-5 PM and 7-9 PM.

Shiva will continue at Madeline & Neil's residence, 5 Windward Lane, Scarsdale, NY 10583 on

Friday from 1-5 PM, Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 1-4:30 PM.
