Beloved husband of Barbara, devoted father of Dr. Linda Genen and her husband, William Huckins, Dr. Lawrence Genen and his wife, Lauren, loving grandfather of Mason and Logan, dear brother of Ruthie Genen Glassman and her husband, Russ.
Dr. Genen received his PhD in History from NYU and was a long time educator [professor, teacher and guidance counselor].
Memorial service 1:30PM, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Gutterman and Musicant 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to American Macular Degeneration Foundation or American Heart Association.
