Daniel L., MD, 97, of Fort Lee, NJ died at home on August 26. Born Sept. 17, 1914, in NYC, he is survived by his sons Jonathan and Richard, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Danny had survived his loving wife of 69 years, Erna, who passed December 2011, and daughter Cecily. He received BS and MD degrees from NYU. He was proud of his four years service in the Army Air Corps Med Service, including time in the Pacific theater, and reached rank of Lt Col. A Freudian psychoanalyst, Danny was Chief of Service at Hackensack Hospital for 45 years, retiring at age 88. A world traveler who found inspiration in the story of America, Danny was a true gentleman who adored his family as much as they adored him.
