He attended Columbia University and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry in 1968. He was a highly skilled chess player, a Connecticut state champion as a youth, and competed at a national level in college.
He had a long career as a computer programmer at several companies including Goldman Sachs, ADP, IBM, and most recently DXC Technology.
He took pride in his expertise in specialized computer programming languages. He had a profound interest in nutritional sciences and strived to use his knowledge to improve the lives of his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Isadore Ginsberg and Elsie Altman (nee Kaufman) and sister Susan Chartoff. He is survived by his beloved wife Angelita (nee Crema), loving daughter Janet Ginsberg and her husband Todd, adoring grandson Theodore Finley, loving son David Ginsberg and his partner Kaysee, and devoted sister Joan Medway.
