Elaine Bieger was born on August 25, 1932 in New York City. She passed away on January 12, 2026 at the age of 93. She was a resident of Tenafly New Jersey. A graveside service will be held on January 15, 2026 at Old Montefiore Cemetery at 121-83 Springfield BLVD, Springfield Gardens, NY, starting at 2 PM. Shiva will be private. Elaine was a lifelong educator, devoted her career to learning and leadership serving with distinction as vice principal and later as a professor. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Elaine was actively engaged in her community. She was especially devoted to the National Council of Jewish Women. Elaine embraced life with joy. She loved traveling and cultural pursuits, but nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her love for those closest to her. She will be truly missed.
Friends attending should meet at the cemetery's office at 1:30PM and the foreman will escort us to the grave at 2PM.
