Katz, Evelyn of Paramus NJ and Coconut Creek Fl. on January 12th. Beloved wife of the late Leon Katz. Devoted mother of Linda Buckbinder and her husband David Buckbinder, Harold Katz and his wife Terriann Christopher, Rabbi Shefa Gold and her husband Rachmiel O’Regan, David Katz and his wife Myrta DaSilva. Cherished grandmother of Talya Buckbinder. Before retiring Evelyn taught in the Hackensack public school system for 30 plus years. Her creativity, patience, and caring were an inspiration to her students and to her fellow teachers. The love, thoughtfulness and kindness she shared for all of her 88 years had a profound effect on everyone who knew her.
Funeral Service was held 1pm Tuesday 1/15 at the funeral home, followed by interment at Beth El Cemetery, Washington Township, NJ.
Shiva will be held at 29 Harmon Drive, Paramus, NJ 07652 today Tuesday 1/15/2013 with a 7PM Minyan Service and on Wed 1/16/2013 12pm-8pm with a 7pm Minyan Service.
