Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Rader lived in Philadelphia for 67 years before moving to Elmwood Park, NJ in 2010.
Evelyn worked for Friends’ Central School in Wynnewood, PA for over 25 years at many different capacities finally as the Director of Development before retiring.
After moving to Elmwood Park she became involved with Jewish Family Service of North Jersey, and volunteered at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ.
She is survived by her son Wayne and his wife Michele of Wolcott, CT; a daughter Robyn Freedman and her husband Jay of Upper Saddle River, NJ; a sister Barbara Abraham and her husband Joel of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, 5 grandchildren Jordyn, Jamie, Maisyn, Camryn, and Justin.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 17th at 11:00am, Gutterman-Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park St, Hackensack, NJ 07601. Interment will follow at the Cedar Park Cemetery.
