Born and raised in Queens, New York, George attended Brooklyn law School class of 1953.He started his career in New York and after moving to New Jersey, he became a member of the Bergen County Bar association in 1963.
With a successful law practice underway, George took up running as a hobby and turned it into a passion where he won medals, newspaper recognition, and time setting records.
The love of travel and adventure, nature and animals, George and his wife Judith traveled the world seeing sights and having once in a lifetime experiences.
Survived by his wife Judith Martin of more than 50 years. Daughter Gale Martin, grandchildren, Pamela Wells, RJ and his wife Katherine Wells and great- granddaughter Emilia Wells.
George was an active member of Temple Emanu-El in Closter, NJ attending weekly Saturday Shabbat services.
"My Dad has been the role model and rock of our family. He will be greatly missed and greatly celebrated for all time."
A private at-home service will be followed by Shiva on Sunday, March 31st between 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at 271 West Midland avenue, Paramus, NJ
