Helen Mitnick

Helen Mitnick of Teaneck, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2017, just days after she turned 98 years old. Born in Manhattan, NY on April 17, 1919, she was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Mitnick and the devoted mother of the late Susan Mitnick. She was also the beloved mother of Larry (Diane), Joel (Karen) and Bruce (Kathy) and the loving grandmother to Alex, Greg, Bianca, Erica, Emily, Katie and Seth and to seven great grandchildren.

She was a selfless, ambitious, spirited, independent, loving soul who embraced life fully to the very end. Her life was a blessing and she brought joy to all who knew her. Dancing, baking, reading, knitting, jewelry making, mahjong, games and family were her lifelong passions.

The funeral service was held Sunday, April 23rd, at our chapel at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, Hackensack, NJ
