

Born on February 22nd, 1985, to Isaac and Maxine Rosenberg, Jeff was a
beloved son, brother, and friend for 27 short years. He attended
Paramus Public Schools from grades K-8, was a graduate of The Frisch
School's High School Class of 2003, and received his Bachelor of Arts
degree in 2007 from SUNY University at Albany.
Jeff was working toward his Masters degree in Social Work at Montclair
State University. He hoped to specialize in teaching children with
autism. Jeff had a profound effect on the lives of many young disabled
people during the course of his studies. He possessed a unique ability
to relate to, and engage with, autistic children.
Jeff was also an avid sports enthusiast, and in particular a devoted
Yankees and Giants fanatic. Recently, he participated in various
intramural sports leagues around Bergen County. He had a keen interest
in nutrition, athleticism and well-being.
Jeff is survived by his parents Isaac and Maxine Rosenberg of Paramus,
NJ; his sister Marcia (Rosenberg) Skarbnik and brother-in-law Alan
Skarbnik of Philadelphia, PA; his grandmother Libby Rosenberg of
Holon, Israel; and his Aunt Hadassah and Uncle Lew of London, England.
The funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Monday, June 4 2012 at
Gutterman Musicant Funeral Home in Hackensack, NJ. Burial will take
place following the service at Beth El Cemetary in Paramus, NJ.
