Jess Michael Shirvan

Shirvan, Jess Michael, 47, of Allendale, NJ died at Englewood Hospital on Sunday, October 19, 2014 after a brave and gallant fight with cancer. Beloved husband of 18 years with Dawn Shirvan (nee Minty); loving father of Harlee, Kendall, and Cooper Shirvan; devoted son of Stanley and Sylvia Shirvan; cherished brother of Mark Shirvan and his wife Amy, and Neil Shirvan and his wife Lisa. Mr. Shirvan was born in New York and raised in Tenafly, NJ. He also lived in Woodcliff Lake for 10 years before moving to Allendale 3 years ago. He was the Vice President of his family business, The Consolidated Companies, where he has worked for over 20 years. In addition to his quest to spend time with his loving wife and children, he was truly passionate about riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was a member of Congregation Beth Haverim Shir Shalom in Mahwah and a past member of Temple Sinai of Bergen County in Tenafly. A funeral service will be held at 11:15am on October 21, 2014 at Temple Sinai of Bergen County, 1 Engle St., Tenafly, NJ. Interment to follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ. Memorial donations may be made in Mr. Shirvan’s name to The Englewood Hospital Infusion Center, 350 Engle St., Englewood, NJ 07631.
