Melvyn B Halpern

Melvyn B., 72, of Paramus, on July 13, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Marcy (nee Selikoff). Devoted father of Steven Halpern (Barrie) and Amy Fanning (Michael). Loving grandfather of Emily, Ryan, Adam, Kevin, and Kyle. Melvyn served in the US Army Reserve. He was the previous owner of Ace Hardware in Northvale, NJ, prior to retiring. He was active in the Paramus Men's Softball League as well as being a coach. Melvyn was a very devoted grandfather who was always involved in all of his grandchildren's activities. Funeral Service was held Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ. .

Shiva will begin on Wednesday 7/17 till Friday begining at 12PM with a 7PM Minyan svc each night at Steven and Barrie Haplern's Residence, 2 Evelyn Place Rockaway, NJ 07866
