Dear Ben, Sharon, Rachel, and Jenny,

Miriam was a wonderful cousin.   Always warm, welcoming and interested in the Thalberg-Baron branch of the family.    We five were lucky to dance at Ben and Mim's wedding.  Decades later,   my Dad, Marty,  my husband John and I enjoyed seeing you all at Jenny's wedding.

When Mom died, she spoke at the Louisville memorial  service;  it was wonderful to hear her loving and humorous stories.

May your wonderful memories comfort you always.

Dear Ben, Sharon, Rachel, and Jenny,

Fred and I were so saddened to learn yesterday of Mim's death! Ben, I will call you once I can find your phone number. My deepest condolences to you all. I see that today is her birthday; what a hard thing that must be. Miriam was a most amazing person, so loving, so bright, such a delight to be with even when she was no longer fully herself. She was my favorite cousin from early childhood on, and a great inspiration to me--quite a role model for me in the early 1960s, in fact! 

I so wish I had known in time to attend her service. (Marsha tried to phone and text me but forgot that in Europe we can only receive emails or whatsapp messages.) Is there a link to a recording? I hope so. I hear it was a beautiful service.

Much love to you all and wishes of fortitude in this very difficult time. She lives on in all our memories of what a wonderful Mensch she was. I cherish the memories of the dinners we had in NYC in recent years as well as the much earlier memories.

Dear Miriam,
All of us at the Temple have been missing you and Ben every Shabbath morning and will continue to  miss you terribly in the future. We all remember foundly the many years you taught in our Hebrew school!
Rest in peace.

What can one say! There is a huge void now  from Miriam’s passing, as a beloved wife to Ben , mother to wonderful women  , grandmother ,mother-in-law., and sister-in-law  and  many friends . I will miss your serene presence at all the gatherings, your sharp eye that saw and enjoyed  everything around you , and then just your presence in the company of your loved ones. 
You treated me and my children as family and we will all miss you.  ❤️Roxanne , Rachel, Drew and Renee
