Myra was a true artist, an award-winning sculptor and painter. She taught art in the public schools in Brooklyn, at Sheepheads Bay and Dewey High Schools and then many years at the New Milford public elementary schools as well as the Art Center of Northern New Jersey.
Myra was born April 19, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Sylvia Pasken and Walter Hirsh. She is remembered in life by her husband, Herb, her daughter, Liz and her son, Ron, as well as her step-brother, Warren. She is survived by her grandchildren, Isabelle and Oliver, as well as her many nieces and nephews and cousins who will hold up her fond memory.
The funeral will be held Sun, July 19 at 11:30am at Gutterman and Musicant Funeral Home at 402 Park St. in Hackensack, NJ
