

Myron Rosner peacefully passed away on August 24, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born April 1, 1937, in Teaneck, New Jersey, Myron was a proud lifelong resident of Bergen County. Myron was a talented lawyer, and a founding member of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation and served on the Board of Trustees of the Russel Berrie Foundation, Holy Name Medical Center, and the JCC on the Palisades. Myron dedicated his life to family, philanthropy, and practicing law. Myron was known for his brilliant legal mind, generous spirit, deep intelligence, and unrelenting resourcefulness in helping others.
His love and connection to Bergen County was deeply rooted in family. He grew up in Teaneck surrounded by his extended family and had weekly dinners and holidays with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He went to Lehigh University and then attended NYU Law School where he excelled and began his legal career. At this time, he met the love of his life, Liesa and they were married until her death in 2021, just shy of their 60th wedding anniversary. They raised their family together in Tenafly, where their greatest joys were celebrating holidays, dinners, and their grandchildren’s many milestones. They never let go of an annual tradition of bringing the entire family together for a winter vacation.
Myron leaves behind his three daughters, Randi Rosner (Jeffrey Lipton), Sheryl Rosner (David Berman) and Ellen Platt (David Platt) and his eight beloved grandchildren, Jessica, Evan and Matthew Lipton, Samantha, Emma and Alana Berman and Hannah and Jonathan Platt.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 30th at 11:30 am at The Chapel at the Sanctuary of Abraham & Sarah Mausoleum, Cedar Park and Beth El Cemeteries, Paramus, New Jersey. cedarparkbethelcemeteries.com
The family will hold shiva following interment at Myron’s home in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
