Born in the Bronx, NY, and raised in Teaneck, NJ; he lived in Hackensack for the past 15 years.
Reid graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken in 1987. He then worked as an Application Developer in the Computer Industry for over 28 years.
Pre-deceased by his father Allen in 1977, his brother Gregg in 1991, his mother Marcia in 2012, and his step-father Arnold Edelstein, he is survived by his brother David and his wife Melissa of Warwick, NY, 2 nieces Rebecca and Hilary, 2 nephews Aidan and Gavin, his 3 stepbrothers Howard Edelstein and his wife Laurie of River Edge, NJ; Steven Edelstein and his wife Patrice of Paramus, NJ, Mitchell Edelstein and his wife Sarah of Hillsborough, NJ, and 7 step-nieces and nephews.
A Chapel service will be held on Friday March 29th at 1:00pm, Gutterman-Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park St; Hackensack, NJ 07601. Interment will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
Donations in Mr. Kleinman’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society or Jewish Family Services.
