Saul Ephrat

Saul ("Shaoul") Ephrat was born to Moshe and Regina Ephraim on November 21, 1932, in Basra, Iraq. In 1952, his family moved to Israel where he was drafted to the army soon after and served in three wars, eventually building a career as a real estate developer. While in Israel, he met the love of his life, Rina, and had three children. In 1976, he moved his family to New Jersey and continued in real estate development. Saul was devoted to his family and a reliable, caring friend. He was stoic, strong, responsible, fair and, most of all, loving. He will be deeply missed. Saul is survived by his wife, Rina, his children, Moshe, Roni and Galit, grandchildren, Arielle and Benjamin, and siblings, Fred, Herzl and Naomi.

Funeral services will begin promptly at 10am, Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601. Friends should begin to arrive around 9:15AM.
