Sydney Gordon

He is survived by his three children, Orrin,Geoffrey, and Debra,

two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. His wife of

over 50 years, Lillian predeceased him.

Sydney was a lifetime resident of Hoboken and owned and operated Gordon

Wines & Liquor Store for over 50 years. He served in the army during World War

II as a Corporal.

Sydney was an avid bowler and participated in men's leagues and tournaments for many years

and into his 80's. He enjoyed a good game of chess, going to family

affairs,dancing,gambling and Atlantic City, following the financial markets, and spoiling his

grandchildren.

Funeral Service was held at our chapel on Tuesday March 10th followed by a interment at Riverside Cemetery, Saddle River, NJ .

Shiva will be held Tues after the cemetery till 9pm, Wed and Thurs 4pm-9pm at the Rosenstreich home; 85 Tunison Rd, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
