Thelea P. Fudim

Pre-deceased by her most excellent Husband of 60 years, Bernard Fudim. Devoted Daughter of Nathan and Fanny Paul(deceased). Survived by her children: Susan Fudim of Somerville, MA, Sharon Fudim of New Milford, NJ, Steven Fudim of New Milford, NJ and her greatest joy in life, her Granddaughter, Shana Fudim of New Milford, NJ.

Pre-deceased by her wonderful Brother & Sister-in-law Marvin & Harriet Paul, and survived by her Brother Saran (Marilyn) Paul of Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Thelea was born in Brooklyn and had a strong family upbringing in Williamsburg, surrounded by her many aunts, uncles and cousins in the neighborhood.

Nursing was her passion, Thelea trained at Prospect Heights Hospital Nursing School in Brooklyn. After raising her children she got involved in Long Term Care as a Directress of Nursing, and then as a Nursing Home Administrator. Thelea showed great compassion toward her patients and was well-respected by her staff.

Thelea & Bernie shared a love of opera, and she was thrilled to have met Luciano Pavarotti. She was near speechless, but was able to utter "Ti voglio bene". And graciously, he responded in kind.

Thelea was a lifelong animal lover. Should friends desire, contributions may be made to an animal rescue organization or Alzheimer's research.
