
Gordon Schneider, 82, passed away Feb. 22, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Gordy was known for boundless energy, a fondness for puzzles and games, and his 35 years as an engineer/ manager at GE Medical. A Marquette University graduate, he taught at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland during the Korean War. He found his greatest joy in his family and friends. His wife of 40 years Phyllis Schneider (Pejka), and his brother, Robert, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Joyce Kuderski, who he met as a child while they attended St. Augustine grade school in Bay View, his children Mark (Divina Infusino), Mary (Dan) Thomson, Paul, Joan (Warren) Mutsch, grandchildren Ian, Ellen, Sean, Spencer and Emilie, step-children Jim (Kim) Kuderski, John Kuderski, Jeff (Karen) Kuderski and step-grandchildren Jenni, Katie, Samantha and Christina. He was so loved and admired and he will be so missed.
Visitation Friday, Feb. 25, 9:30-11:30 AM at St. Martin of Tours, 7963 S. 116th St., Franklin, with a Mass following at 11:30 AM. Entombment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wisconsin Parkinson’s Foundation or St. Martin of Tours.
