Robert Franklin Koons

Robert Franklin Koons went home to be with the Lord and reunited with his beloved wife Ludie, on 1/31/2014 at the age of 87 yrs. Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Cynthia (Gerald) Halfen, Marjorie Koons and Karen (James) Kuenzi; grandchildren, Nyssa Koons and Tony Kuenzi; brother, Albert Eugene Koons; and many other relatives, friends, and neighbors at Meadowmere Assisted Living Apartments. Robert served in the U.S. Army. Robert and Ludie were devoted members of Ascension Lutheran Church for over 51 yrs. Robert’s family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of the Critical Care Unit at West Allis Memorial Hospital and the staff of Vitas Hospice. Visitation will be Tuesday February 4th from 9-11 AM, with a Funeral Service at 11 AM both at Ascension Lutheran Church (1236 S. Layton Blvd. Milwaukee, WI). Interment will be WEDNESDAY February 5th at 930 AM at Wisconsin Memorial Park (Meet in the green section) In lieu of flowers, memorials to Ascension Lutheran Church are appreciated.
