Albert Kenneth Sparks

Sparks, Albert Kenneth - 49, Halifax passed away on October 7, 2012 at home. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Albert worked for The Canadian Coast Guard for 24 years. He was passionate about his work and had a love for the ocean. Albert was raised and predeceased by his grandparents, the late Albert (Whoopie) and Muriel (Fletcher) Sparks and was also predeceased by his father, Calvin Sparks Sr., mother Stella Williams and sister Maureen (Buffy) Carvery, brother James Williams, James (Unca Bunka) Sparks. He is survived by his wife Lisa, son Keenan of Halifax, brothers Calvin Jr, (Cheri), Anthony, Robert Williams, sister Irma, stepmother Audrey Sparks all of Calgary, stepbrother Carlo Flynn (Donna) of Toronto, Godson Josh Last, Aunts Olive (Tuney) Flint, Brenda (Jack) Mantley, Irma Sparks, Uncle George Albert (Butchie) Flint and several nieces and nephews. A very special thanks to the Munroe family and Albert’s neighbors who provided support and friendship to him over the years.

Visitation to be held on Tuesday Oct 16, 2012 from 6pm - 8pm with a funeral service to follow on Wednesday Oct 17, 2012 at 1pm both to be held at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home 2666 Windsor St Halifax, NS. Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
