He is survived by daughter Lela (Halifax); step-children Ruthanne, Toronto; Larry (Kathy), Sackville; grandchildren, Josha, B.C; Shane, Iesha, Nigel, Cortez, Leah, Alex, Lyndell; great-grandson, Isaiah all of Halifax; his brother, Michael and ex-wife, Heather.
He was predeceased by daughter, Dawn; brothers, Richard and Kenneth.
A ceremony to celebrate Billy’s life will be held in Cruikshank’s Halifax Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street on August 9 at 3 p.m. Pastor Diane Govindsamy will officiate.
Repass will be held following the service at 5370 Glebe Street, Halifax.
