Born in Halifax, he was the son of Rosalie (Flemming) Brophy. He was a volunteer at Hope Cottage and Meals-On- Wheels for many years.
He is survived by his sister Joan Brophy.
There will be a Graveside service on Tuesday, January 27th, 2026 at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Mumford Road, Halifax at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hope Cottage or charity of your choice.
