Bowser, Florence (Flo) – Born December 5th, 1928 passed away peacefully August 5, 2016 in Northwood Terrace Nursing Home at the age of 87. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Annie (McGrath) Haley.
She is survived by her children, Ronald Bowser, Halifax; Debbie Bowser, Dartmouth; Eleanor Melanson (Mike), Dartmouth. She is also survived by two sisters, Emily White (Thomas) Ontario, Evelyn Deagle, East Gore; and brother, Gary Haley, Ontario. She is also survived by 5 granddaughters, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Gordon, two sisters Annie Levangie, Helen Flumerfelt, brother Ernest Haley, son Ernest and grandson, Kevin.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her, especially her friends at Northwood Terrace. Special thanks to the staff whose care made her days extra special and always made her smile.
The memorial service will take place in the Chapel at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, 11am, on Friday, August 12, Rev. Carson Baxter officiating.
